Nutritional Therapist (DipCNM) mANP, mGNC

My interest in nutritional therapy began early on in life when I was at school. As a student who struggled with anxiety and panic attacks it wasn’t uncommon for me to visit my GP on a regular basis. By the age of 14 I had been on numerous medications and had seen several psychiatrists to no avail.

After several attempts of trying to find something that would help with the anxiety I decided to do a food intolerance test. Amongst the E numbers that were flagged up was dairy, my favourite food group, which sadly had to be removed from my diet for 28 days! As challenging as it was, the removal of dairy turned out to be a resounding success and I never panicked again for a long time afterwards. I was overjoyed when I informed my GP that I had found a connection between what I was consuming and how it affected my health.

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is a science-based, personalised approach to health and wellness that uses food, nutrients, and lifestyle changes to support your body’s natural healing processes. It focuses on identifying and addressing imbalances in the body that may contribute to chronic health issues, low energy, or general discomfort.

Through a combination of dietary recommendations, supplementation, and guidance on healthy habits, nutritional therapy aims to optimise your health by treating the root causes of concerns—not just the symptoms. This holistic approach considers your unique needs, including your medical history, current lifestyle, and wellness goals, to create a tailored plan that helps you feel your best.
